Learning Materials
When Mums, Dads and caregivers first visit Capital Montessori, they’re very interested in all the interactive ‘learning materials’ they see the children using. Many were actually designed by Maria Montessori, and the children love using them to explore interesting and important concepts - the ideal way for young enquiring minds to develop their problem solving abilities, visualise abstract ideas, and have lots of fun all at the same time! These materials play an important part in nurturing your child’s development and love of learning - and children spend many happy hours absorbed in, and exploring, these wonderful activities.
When your child comes to our Montessori classroom they will experience activities, in an holistic way, in key learning areas: practical life - indoors and out, sensorial, language - including music, mathematics and cultural topics - including science.
