What's happening at Capital Montessori
Information Evenings are held once a term at Capital. All parents interested in Montessori education for their children are most welcome to attend these evenings, which provide a chance to see the school, meet the teachers and learn about the Montessori method. You are welcome to just turn up but if you have any enquiries please contact Kate in the office. Our next Information Evening will be held on Thursday 24th November 2011 at 7.30 pm at the school.

School photos are available for viewing on the webiste as advised by email. Orders should be in to the office by the morning of Thursday 17th November at the latest.
Promotion of our School - Talent Release Forms
Talent release forms have been distributed to each family (via pocket) requesting approval to use photos of your child for the promotion of Capital Montessori School. We appreciate your support and ask you to pease sign and return the form to the office.
Photographer, Virginia Woods-Jack has been taking photos of children and teachers at work in each of the classrooms. These photos are to be used to update our website and website gallery, on promotional posters, brochures, flyers and online social media eg Facebook. Please note the purpose of the photos is to promote the Montessori method of teaching and learning. Children will not be identified in any of the media.
School Raffle Winners
The 2011 Capital Montessori School Raffle Drawing took place on 9 November, 2011, at the School Council Meeting.
Thanks to everyone who supported the raffle, which helped towards the cost of purchasing computers for the production of our children's profile books.

Congratulations to the winners, a big thank you to the CMS parents who generously donated the prizes, and to everyone who sold / bought a ticket in the raffle. We have now raised over $3000 for the purchase of computers.
