Flora is 5 years old and attends Kowhai

“We have always been convinced by Maria Montessori’s philosophy. In Switzerland, where we come from, this kind of education was not affordable to us. When we realised that it would be affordable here in Wellington almost nothing could stop us to get Flora enrolled at Capital Montessori. There was a long waiting list so we needed to be persistent and luckily we were offered a place very soon!

Flora is our first child and is the only one attending Capital Montessori at the moment. Her brother Jacob was born at the end of 2008 and will follow Flora.

Flora has benefited from Capital Montessori – she is very balanced and loves having people around her. She does not require lots of toys as she prefers to do the same things her parents do! Like cooking, vacuum cleaning, fixing and cleaning the bike or car, bathing her brother. She also loves reading books and listening to stories which she is able to concentrate on for quite a long time!”.
