“The fantastic life skills my children learned through Montessori inspired me to become a Montessori teacher”

Alice comes from Taranaki and was introduced to Montessori when choosing a pre-school for her own children. The life skills, like high self-esteem and independence, that her children received during their time at Capital Montessori convinced Alice that being part of the school would be an incredible experience. With her children now teenagers, she has been teaching at Capital Montessori for 12 years.

Alice believes that using Montessori principles she can make a positive and productive difference for the children at Capital Montessori. Alice holds a Diploma in Early Childhood Education.

Before becoming an early childhood teacher Alice was a piano teacher and piano accompanist.
