Capital Montessori School Scholarship Programme
At Capital Montessori we believe children who have the opportunity to access a quality Montessori early childhood education get the very best start on their learning journey. Our preschool programme for children 0-6 years is designed to empower them to become independent, joyful learners who are curious and capable.
As part of our commitment to giving more children and their families the opportunity to access a Montessori education we will offer three fully subsidised places in our 3-6 preschool programme for 2018 - 2020. The scholarship covers 100% of the annual enrolment fees, for each year of the three-year programme – currently valued at $9,000.
The scholarships will be awarded based on a family’s financial need and wish to choose Montessori for their child. Families applying for the scholarship programme must intend to enrol their child/children for the full three-year Montessori 3-6 programme, but would otherwise not be able to do so without financial assistance. The family would still need to pay the bond of half a term’s fees ($375) which is refundable after the completion of the child’s enrolment at 6 years of age.
A panel of CMS community members will determine which children/families will be selected to receive the scholarships. All information included in each application will be kept private and confidential and will only be known to the scholarship panel. The information will only be used for the purposes of deciding the scholarship and it will not be stored beyond what is necessary for that process to be completed.
Applications for the 2018 Year close on 10 December 2017.
Applicants will be notified of the outcome of their application in late December 2017 or early January 2018.
